Big Brother POV question?

Okay I always thought that when you won POV and used it on someone else you gave up your own safety. it is only the POV holder who is safe. So if Sue is on the block and Joe uses it to take her down Sue is the only safe one.

Am I wrong? because all season (and last season) everyone talks like in that situation Sue AND Joe would both be safe. Did they change the rules and I just missed this rule change at some point a couple seasons ago? lol. I am sooo confused.

  1. You are correct. The ONLY person who is safe is the one who is in possession of the POV. That's why it's so risky to use it. As the winner, you are guaranteed safe for that week. If you choose to use the power, you are making that person and that person only (other than HoH) safe for the week. Nothing guarantees your safety but a deal or friendship with the HoH.

  2. Well I thought if the winner of the POV used it on someone they put themselves in jeopard, and I swear iIremember seeing people using it and then getting put up ,  but i guess  not.

( Maybe that was on Survivor)

Beause tonight on BB10 USA  Memphis used the POV to take Dan of the block, and he was also kept safe along with Dan, so that left only one choice for Jerry to put up----Renny,

  3. The first season of the POV, that was true, but people did not use it

So it been like this for years

  4. The POV winner is always safe from being put up, otherwise no one would ever even be tempted to use it on others. Also, the person who they take off the block is safe. They might have changed the rules along the way but it really wouldn't make sense if one used the POV on someone and then jeopardized their own safety.
