Big Buck´s expected to dominate the BGC Partners Liverpool Hurdle Grade 1
Big Buck´s has won the best odds for the BGC Partners Liverpool Hurdle Grade 1 at Aintree in England on Thursday, April 12, 2012. The winner of the class-1 race will be awarded a cash prize of £56,270.
The stamina of all the runners will be tested in the race, as the total distance to cover is 3 miles and 110 yards. The going will be good to soft and the event is scheduled to start at 14:00 GMT.
A total of eight runners have been attracted towards the race and their names are as follows: Big Buck´s, Smad Place, Poungach, Tidal Bay, Restless Harry, Crack Away Jack, Won In The Dark and Across The Bay.
The bookies have shown full faith in the abilities of Big Buck´s, who has got plenty of experience and is a phenomenal competitor. His overall record is spectacular, thus the punters will definitely place bets in his favour.
The nine-year-old gelding has participated in 29 races over hurdles, winning 18 of them. In addition to that, he also finished runner up once and took the third spot on a couple of occasions.
Importantly, the Paul Nicholls’ trained gelding has been in superb form over the past many months, as he has won 16 consecutive races. He seems to be unstoppable right now and it will be a big surprise if anyone else manages to give him a tough time at Aintree
today.
Ruby Walsh will be the one partnering Big Buck´s in the race. He is a veteran jockey and has got a magnificent record over hurdles. The veteran rider has won 155 of such events at a terrific strike rate and is considered to be one of the best in the business.
Smad Place might manage to cause a few problems for his rivals in the race, as he also has a good record over hurdles. He has taken part in nine of such events, winning three and finishing runner up in a couple of them. Moreover, he has also secured the
third spot on two occasions, which shows that he consistently fights for race victories.
However, it will be extremely hard for any other horse to match the speed and skills of Big Buck´s, who is in sublime form at the moment.
