Big Buck's, 17-time straight winner still has a lot to offer

It was Cheltenham audience that saw him delivering an extraordinary performance in the Class 2 Unicoin Homes Handicap Hurdle. It was just the beginning for the giant horse, who never looked behind after getting his act together.
Big Buck’s won another couple of major races at Cheltenham, before travelling to Aintree, where he was triumphant in the Grade 2 John Smith's Liverpool Hurdle. Paul Nicholls’ charge concluded his 2009 campaign with two mind blowing performances at Newbury.
After blitzing the opposition in the Grade 2 Sportingbet.com Long Distance Hurdle, the rampant runner sealed an emphatic victory in the Grade 1 Racing UK On Virgin 536 Long Walk Hurdle.
He enjoyed a wonderful season before taking a break of almost three months. In 2010, the bay and brown gelding won four graded events, and made a huge impact.
He continued his winning form the following year, winning four contests last year, including three Grade Ones. The horseracing fans saw him doing an equally good job this year.
On January 28, the gelding faced no difficulty whatsoever in dominating the proceedings in the Grade 2 Rewards4Racing Cleeve Hurdle. He clinched another emphatic victory in the hands of Ruby Walsh at Cheltenham.
The Grade 1 Ladbrokes World Hurdle saw him bagging the first prize of £148,070.00, with plenty of ease. His 17th successive win came at Aintree, where he secured the top rank in the Grade 1 BGC Partners Liverpool Hurdle in April.
Big Buck’s in on vacation these days, and despite his growing age, no one can underestimate the skills he possesses. His fans expect him to stay fit and continue his winning journey over hurdles next season.
