Big Creek rated favourite for the Follow Southwell on Twitter Handicap

Big Creek is rated favourite for the Follow Southwell on Twitter Handicap race in England on Thursday, March 1, 2012. The class-4 event has a winning cash prize of £4,205.
A total of 11 runners have been confirmed for the 1 mile 4 furlong race and their names are: Big Creek, Tricksofthetrade, Mazij, The Lock Master, Admirable Duque, Son Vida, Union Island, Follow The Flag, Jawaab, Pertemps Networks and Beau Fighter.
Big Creek has gained some momentum after his past couple of outings and looks in very good shape to win today. He finished second in his previous race at Kempton and will like the conditions at Southwell.
Jeremy Noseda’s trained horse will be partnered by seasoned rider, Jimmy Fortune, who has nothing to prove at this level. He has a pretty decent strike rate and will be looking forward to using all his experience at Southwell.
Tricksofthetrade, trained by Alan Swinbank, does not have too much experience, but certainly has the skills to match the best at this level. He likes running at Southwell, as his last two outings at the venue proved to be extremely good. He has the momentum
on his side and will be a big threat for the rest of the runners.
Considering the record of Tricksofthetrade at Southwell, the punters will be encouraged to place more bets on him. The six-year-old gelding will be ridden by jockey, P. McDonald, who has proven his class at this level.
One of the consistent runners in today’s race is Peter Hiatt’s trained filly, Mazij. She has been delivering solid results since making her debut in the sport. Her last few races also turned out to be quite impressive for her, thus the bettors will be encouraged
to invest money on her.
The four-year-old runner will be partnered by William Carson, who has quite a decent record in this class.
The Lock Master, trained by Michael Appleby, does not have a very good strike rate, but has shown some good form over the past few events. He might challenge the top three favourites, but things will not be easy for him.
Overall, the competition seems to be close between the top three runners, as their recent form has been quite impressive.
