Big Easy earns a big victory in Grade A1 420m race at Peterborough
Big Easy accomplished an astonishing triumph over his opponents in the Grade A1 racing event of 420m category at Peterborough on January 18. The fawn b***h forced the bookies, who had betted on Come on Dini, to repent upon their decision. Her other
competitors included Glatton Guy, Gateway Callum and Gan On Jim.
Though achieved with a slight margin of ¾ of a length, it was an amazing victory by the veteran hound, who was looked upon as an underdog in trap 4 ahead of the race.
The break call came at 20:30. Big Easy started very well and took the lead immediately. It turned out to be a slow start, but he dug it out in the end as, Glatton Guy, Come On Dini and Gateway Callum soon caught her.
From that point onwards, there was a fierce competition among the four hounds. Though Big Easy remained affront throughout the time, but her rivals disturbed her a lot, denying easy victory.
Fighting against all odds and breaking through all challenges, the dashing b***h finally reached the finish line in 25.70 seconds.
The daughter of Tahiti Pearl kicked off her career on November 19, 2010, at the same venue. She achieved this spot for the 8th time in her career. Whelped in June 2009, the b***h is trained by P J Dolby.
It was a nail-biting contest indeed, but Big Easy wrested a big success in a tremendous way which was not only praise-worth, but also a prelude of her successful year.
Dolby lavished applause on his b***h, who recently found her stride after a little interval. It is expected that the upcoming events will bring further victories for the dashing runner.
With a margin ¾ of a length each, Glatton Guy, Come On Dini and Gateway Callum grabbed 2nd, 3rd and 4th position, respectively. The trio struggled well against one another and against Big Easy,
filling the race with sheer thrill.
During the post-race prize distribution ceremony, the winner earned £98, while each of the other hounds got £13.
As a whole, it was an interesting event enjoyed a lot by the local spectators. However, the bettors were somewhat disappointed as their favourite hound could not win.
