Okay. The regular season is about to start, and there are many people at QB especially that I can still pick up...the problem is, I do not know which of my QB's I need to use, and who to place for my backup. I know that there are going to be a lot of sleepers, but I want to make sure that I have the right players when the time comes.

My starter is Matt Schaub, I really believe he's going to have a great season this year, and there is no way anyone is going to stray me from my decision for the starter, I need help with the backup though.

People available right now is: J.T. O. Sullivan, Brady Quinn, and my CURRENT backup is JaMarcus Russell. Any three of these QB's can do a great job I know, but I know at least Russell will start. J.T. can go back to second string and Brady Quinn riding bench behind Derek...unless his concussion stays with him. Who do I grab? I need a decision and quick regular season is catching up.

  1. schaub?? dang...

Is Kurt Warner out there?  he would be better than any of the QB's you got.  If hes not, then just stay with what you have, but pay close attention to O'Sullivan, he could break out..

Houston had the 9th hardest schedule for a QB

    Oakland is 6th hardest

    Arizona is 15th easiest

and S.F is the 3rd easiest schedule for QB's

  2. I love  Shaub too...but as my #2 with upside.  Quinn isn't even starting and may not at all...so he's out.  I guess I like O'Sullivan under Martz the best of that lot.  Isn't there a better alternative in your free agent pool?  There must be.  If you have to rely on any of these backup guys you are screwed.

  3. I would stick with Russell. He has had some time to mature and will be able lead the team better this year. J.T. looked great in the preseason, which is why he has become the starter, but he wasn't playing against first team defenses and when he was not many pro football players try during the preseason since they know they would rather stay healthy. At least with Russell you know he will play and he is built to be a good QB, especially if he has taken the time learn to make smarter decisions, which he didn't do very well last year.
