Big Halo 4 Rumor should we believe it?

Right now Offical X-Box Magazine has said, that Microsoft is letting Tapbox make the new Halo 4 game, which would come out on the next gen Microsoft system. so the rumors are saying Bungie will not be making Halo 4, now i know this is only a rumor. but really Microsoft and Bungie has not been seeing eye to eye, and after what happen after E3, there seems to be problem in the Microsoft camp

I think it's on the borderline of being true, but we can't believe everything we hear.

Personally, I'd love it if Halo 4 goes in an entirely different direction. Instead of gun-on-gun combat, why not gun-on-melee combat? Instead of Halo, it could go in a more horror-based route, like Resident Evil 4. Naturally, this may mean that we do away with mutliplayer. And while this seems insane, they could also launch another squad-based Halo game, that is 100% multiplayer, alongside Halo 4.

maaaybe. if tapbox is making a halo 4, then they better not lose a step. example: call of duty 2 and call of duty 3.

Well they are making a new halo game called "Halo Wars." I belive they are done with the trilogy of numbers.

The Game

Halo Wars is a real-time action strategy game for the Xbox 360 that allows the player to control large armies and to shrewdly direct them in realistic warfare. Set early in the iconic war between the Covenant and UNSC - made famous by the Halo FPS games - Halo Wars provides a new angle on the war while bringing new heroes to the battle.

In Halo Wars fans will be able to control armies of units that are familiar to them from the FPS games, such as UNSC Marines, Scorpion Tanks, and the iconic Warthog.  Our E3 demo video gives a narrated first look at the game, and you can download it from our movies page.



The Controls

We've spent a great deal of time simply on getting the controls right.  Halo Wars was created for the Xbox 360 from the ground up, which meant we didn't have to make compromises or shoe-horn in artifacts from a Windows PC game. We were able to take all the best aspects of RTS games, make them work perfectly on the Xbox 360, and exclude the rest.

Halo Wars is currently under development at Ensemble Studios in Dallas, Texas. We are the developers behind the award winning Age of Empires series of real-time strategy games, and we're very excited to be able to work in the universe that our friends at Bungie have created

it fake 4 one  because its a rumor durrr

and bungie and microsoft been slit. bungie plan on calcaling  microsoft didnt make them calcal there plan at e3 they felt it wasnt time yet

bungie wants to go off and do a new series thats why they spit

btw its gearbox not tapbox

and kind of glad  bungie anit making halo 4 how they screwed up 3 with noob ar's and more then half the maps suck and stuff but  i still miss them because what ever company be doing it they wont have updates like bungie and all that

I hope its not going to be like the cod series were they keep changing.

COD2 -infinity ward. Great game mostly 9 out of tens in magazines.

COD3 -treyarch. Big let down after the amazing COD2 7 out of tens.

COD4 -infinity ward. Another amazing game 10 out of tens in most reviews.

COD5 -treyarch(confirmed)I hope its not like COD3 please let it be like COD4 in world war 2.

i heard that bungie, was making halo 4? they started on it a while ago

well i heard Gearbox devs were working on it last week, but it was cleared up and some of the team from GearBox has goen to Microsoft and Halo 4 is going to be an Inhouse wholly Ms game, bungie are no longer involved, both form treatment at E3 and they feel MS are milking the game too much.

Oh i read the article it says Gearbox, why did you  write Tapbox?
