I think that the overall punching power and physical strength  of Bonecrusher Smith would be a little too much for Tate.  Smith by 12th round technical knockout.

Interesting question, i was never a big fan of either fighter however i think that bone crusher smith would have been the winner in this fight. Smith was actually a good fighter in his prime, he power and he could take a punch too (Tyson is a different story) and while Tate was a good fighter in his own right i don't think he was better than bonecrusher, if they had met i think smith could very well earn a victory by ko if not a UD
