Big Show beats Mark Henry by count-out after Daniel Bryan intervention – Wrestling news
Big Show and Mark Henry faced each other for the third time on Friday night Smackdown in an epic match.
The bout was won by the world’s largest athlete Big Show, but saw an illegal intervention by Daniel Bryan.
The controversy between two of the most heaviest and huge athletes of WWE would have ended in a calm and respectful manner had Daniel Bryan not cashed in the Money in the Bank contract.
As a result, Bryan captured the world heavyweight gold from Big Show, WWE history’s shortest title-holder.
The controversy has not resolved yet in fact the intensity has increased two-fold especially after the sad accidental collision of Big Show with Daniel’s girlfriend, AJ.
Before the Royal Rumble’s epic 25th anniversary in which all the three WWE heavyweight prospects, Daniel Bryan, Big Show, and Mark Henry were bound to fight each other in a steel cage match, Theodore Long arranged on Friday Night Smackdown, a bout between
Mark Henry and Big Show.
Henry and Show had fought each other several times but the duo is famous for its controversy over who is the owner of WWE heavyweight title, a controversy that even lead to the demolishing of the whole squared ring.
Teddy Long’s idea and match announcement brought life in the whole arena and later on spectators stood on their seats when Show and Henry stood facing each other in the ring.
Daniel Bryan made a guest appearance and stood on the side of the ring. Show immediately leashed his furious punches over Henry and the bout instantly went outside the ring. Both men brutally tortured each other and inflicted intense damage.
Bryan, on the other hand, while sitting on the outside of the ring kept on analysing the two brawlers, the men he was supposed to face in the steel cage.
Show ended the world’s strongest man’s show and grabbed a win by count-out when Henry was unable to enter the ring after taking a massive beating from the hands of Show. As soon as the referee announced Show as the winner, Bryan entered with the steel chair
and started bashing him violently.
The illegal skirmish ended when Show applied a monstrous choke slam and Bryan, with fear and no option left, ran away from the world’s largest athlete who possesses the world’s heaviest fist and knockout punch.
The three men will take part in the steel cage match which will be held on Sunday night in the 25th anniversary of Royal Rumble. Daniel Bryan’s WWE heavyweight championship will be on the line as well.
