Big Show vs. Jack Swagger on Friday Night Smack Down
Some wrestling matches are about wins, others are about money and few are about prestige and glory. But this match had a different and simple purpose and that was complete destruction and annihilation of the opponent. It was Big Show against the two All–American amateur wrestling champion, Jack Swagger.
Jack Swagger who is the former World Heavy Weight Wrestling Champion thinks that he was robbed of his golden title when he was defeated and Rey Mysterio became the new World Heavy Weight Champion in the Fatal Four Way match. Since that day, Jack Swagger has been attacking both Big Show and Rey Mysterio. But these attacks are not simple attacks as Jack Swagger applies the dreaded submission hold “Ankle Lock” on his opponents.
This submission hold almost broke the ankles of both Rey Mysterio and Big Show. When Rey Mysterio was injured and was suffering from the pain caused by Jack Swagger, Jack attacked again. Jack Swagger again trapped the injured ankle of Rey Mysterio in the Ankle Lock and started twisting it with full force. Rey Mysterio was screaming all over the place. Jack Swagger almost broke the ankle of Rey Mysterio but Big Show came to the rescue.
On the last Friday Night Smack Down, Big Show received a golden opportunity when it was announced that the giant would face Jack Swagger in a one on one wrestling match. Big Show knew that he would enter the ring not to win the match but to destroy Jack Swagger. Before the start of the match, The Big Show clearly said that he will instill fear in the mind of Jack Swagger by giving him a beating of a life time. The ring announcer announced the match and Big Show walked towards the ring.
The match started as Jack Swagger tried to attack the ankle of Big Show. But Big Show who is the largest athlete of the world and weighs around 500 pounds was ready for such an attack. Big Show picked up jack Swagger with one hand and Bang. Big Show smashed the back of Jack Swagger on the floor. The giant was angry and he wanted to punish the former World Heavy Weight Champion, Jack Swagger.
Big Show then delivered a big punch to the abdomen of Jack Swagger. Jack Swagger was in pain and was trying to stand on his feet. Then it was time for the big chops which have become a trade mark move of Big Show. Big Show raised his right hand and delivered a chop to the chest of Jack Swagger. The whole arena heard in silence as the impact of the chop echoed every where. Big Show kept delivering those big chops and slammed Jack Swagger on the ring floor.
Big Show then picked up Jack Swagger and dragged him to the steel ramp to inflict more pain and punishment. But then Jack Swagger tried to turn things around as he punched the ankle of Big Show. That was the turning point of the match as Jack Swagger then twisted the leg of Big Show and slammed it on the steel floor. Big Show screamed in pain but Jack Swagger continued his vicious assaults. People believe that Big Show failed to finish the job and he will try again to beat Jack Swagger on some other day.
Jack Swagger has invoked his rematch clause after losing the World Heavy Weight championship at Fatal Four Way. He will not collide with Rey Mysterio for the World Heavy Weight Championship at the upcoming Money in the Bank, Pay per View. It is hard to determine the winner of the match but one thing is for sure that there may be no tomorrow for Rey Mysterio if Jack Swagger succeeds in trapping Rey Mysterio in the dreaded and vicious Ankle Lock during the match.
