  1. Yes, there is a special cleaner, a type of reducer (exactly the opposite of oxi-clean, an oxidizer).    This is the one I use: http://www.proschoice.com/html/kool_aid....

You can buy it directly from this web site, or if they will sell to you (not all will), a carpet cleaning supply house.

  2. Re-wet the stain with cold water.  Take a box of baking soda and dump it on the stain.  Lightly pat it into the carpet, and then leave it alone until it all dries.  Pick up by hand what you can.  Vacuum up the rest.  The baking soda will absorb the water and kool-aid, and you'll never know it was there.  It works like a charm!  Good luck!

  3. If you have a few bucks to spare, I suggest trying Oxy-Clean. It's done wonders for my carpet, and it's pulled some awful stains out of our clothing as well. You can get a small container at the store for about $3. Mix it with warm water (it will say how much to use on the jar), and follow the directions for carpet cleaning. It might take a couple of applications to get it all out, but I guarantee you will see a difference.

    Good luck!
