Big australian movies out now?

i'm moving to australia soon, what are some of the popular australian movies that are out now, or bigs ones from the past, or big ones they are anticipating there

There aren't many movies that come out of Australia!  If you mean just popular movies that are shown in Australia then - it's pretty much the same here as in America.  Some previous big movies that have been out were Crocodile Dundee and The Castle... both are great for a laugh.  Also The Dish and Danny Deckchair were great - but not quite so popular.  Please do NOT watch Jindabine... it is a waste of time!  Oh and there is one movie coming out soon called Australia - it stars Nicole Kidman - so it will be interesting to see how good that movie is.

Do you mean like Australian made movies? because at the moment I can't think of any except Black Ballon I think it's called which has got Gemma Ward in it and was released a couple of months back.

As for anticipationg movies "The Black Knight" is a big one at the moment due to the fact that Heath Ledger is starring in it but that's not Australian.
