Big bug out of my bathroom sink drain?

i turned on the hot water and this wicked big bug came out of the drain it was an orange color. i don't think it was a cockroach. my house is fairly new. what kind of bug is this?!?!?!??!?!/

  1. the only wicked looking bugs I can think of that likes sinks and drains and is sorta orange (orangish brown?) is called a house centipede. they look like the devil spawn between a spider and a centipede. they love drains and stuff that hasn't been moved in a long time. over all they're pretty harmless but man are they freaky looking and they can  move fast! the pictures shown on this website look a bit exaggerated... but that's the gist of them.

  2. the late stage nymph of an American roach is reddish and might be described as orangeish...other than that a pic would probably be needed...if it had lots of legs try House Centipede

  3. The kind that a bottle of Drano can take care of.

    If it's a new house, the water may not have been on down those pipes in some time, and bugs like to live in there cause it's dark and moist.
