Big dog question please answer?!?

Question

If you get a german shepard can you train them to do volley ball tricks like Airbuddy. and like little dogs and kids but be protective??!! Because I love thoes breeds but I want one like that

a german shepherd is a very intelligent breed,anything you set your mind to teach they will do,if your dog has a ball drive it will be easier to train.all dogs no matter the breed must be taught to be social from an early age if you want him to love little dogs you start hanging around owners that have little dogs so he can get used to them likewise with children,make sure that children also treat the puppy with kindness and respect so the pup grows up to like them too.overall with proper early socialization you will have a wonderful dog and companion with you for many years to come. congratulations!!!

Hi hun...

My grandmother has a German Shepard/Great Dane mix dog, he is absolutely friendly around little kids, but I'm not sure about little dogs...  my dog's a bigger dog too, and they don't get along all that well.  But he's smart, and playful.  You just have to be careful though that they don't get angry.  They're bred to be attack dogs, you know.  Good luck!

Most dogs are capable of learning pretty much anything (within reason, keep in mind it is a dog so it's not going to file your taxes or anything) but it will require a lot of time and dedication on your part to train the dog. You cant just throw a volleyball at the dog and have it magically know how to play volleyball. Good luck with the training

Every dog is different, so the dog may or may not be able to do it.  If that's the only reason you want a dog than don't get one. What would you do if the dog  couldn't do the trick?

you can make any dog what you want it. It will of course, require traning and discipline but it is possible
