  1. Slouchy boots started about three years ago, and riding boots almost two, so I'd say if you want to be "up-to-date" with the fashion, invest in some awesome riding boots.

    Here's some fashion inspiration:

    etc.

But if you decide on the slouch boots with heels, I like these more than the ones on your link (and they're way cheaper!):

  2. like it but it looks pricey like if you wanted some they would cost like $200.00

  3. I like the flat ones, not so much for the heels. I think they look great.

  4. Hi, The slouchy boot trend has actually been around for a couple of seasons (as seen in Micheal Kors collection and at Banana Republic in 2006 amongst others). Since then it has been one of those trends that will not die (for good reason) as they are so wearable over jeans and make legs look slimmer by being wider than the calf making the leg look even slimmer inside the boot. This is a fab trend and will be around (I think for at least a few more seasons) however, you should be aware that the major trend for boots this season is over the knee boots as seen in Jimmy Choos latest collection as well as Karl Lagerfelds latest collection for Fendi (again amongst others). These look awesome worn with another of this seasons trends oversized jumper dresses (particularly in the style of Cricket wear). In terms of the equestrian look you suggested, slouchy boots are not equestrian for this look to work you would have to go with the over the knee style, with some tight trousers tucked into the boots and a gorgeous, loose and feminine top with volume to balance out the rigid and strict looker lower half (think gorgeous fashinable women not over worked horse rider) the idea is to take inspiration from things like the equestrian look or another example sailer look, not to look like a horse rider or sailer.

Overall I think both the slouchy boot and the over the knee style are both fabulous and functional styles for the season and if you invest in a good pair they should be in style for a few seasons to come as they go with many different styles.
