Big flaws and problems in law?

what are some big issues and problems in modern day law, like what lawyers have to face and such

anything you can think of related to law as a big issue

one of the big ones today is

eminent domain

this is a very voliatle subject that would be a good issue

money can buy justice.  Big money can buy the big lawyers that can ge t guilty people off.

Eminent Domain, I agree.  The ability of the government to force you to forfeit your property without compensating you because you refuse to sell it...and are standing in the way of a project that would benefit the communtiy.

Unfortunately, a "project that would benefit the community" usually means a strip mall.

In criminal law, try civil commitment of s*x offenders.  After certain s*x offenders complete their prison sentences and are facing release, the court in some states can commit the offender to a state hospital indefinately because the person is a sexually violent predator.  Seems unconstitutional, since the person has technically completed the court-imposed punishment for their crime, yet they are still involuntarily confined.

That being said, I agree with keeping those sick b******s in jail and out of my neighborhood.
