  1. The Brewers can't afford CC he's not coming back...He'll be a Yankee or Red Sox.

    Ben Sheets:Brewers

    Manny Ramirez:Dodgers

    Mark Teixiera:Yankees

    John Lackey:Angels

  2. Sabathia - Brewers

    K-Rod - probably Angels

  3. I'm a statistic nerd and I love the MLB like a fatty loves chocolate cake.  My guesses for these players are:

    C.C. Sabathia: Milwaukee Brewers

    Ben Sheets: Houston Astros

    Manny Ramirez: Los Angeles Dodgers

Mark Texiera: Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim

    John Lackey: San Diego Padres

  4. Sabathia- Dodgers

    Sheets- Mets

    Ramirez- Dodgers

    Texeira- Yankees

    Lackey- Rangers or Marlins

    Dodgers have the money!

  5. CC-Brewers

    Sheets- IDK

    Rameriz- IDK

    Texeria- Angels

    Lackey- IDK

  6. Truth is, I think all but Ramirez will stay with the teams they are on right now. The Brewers seem to be willing to spend on elite players right now, so I am sure they won't let their 2 stud SP go (especially given what they had to trade to acquire Sabathia). Also, I'd love to be in the current Milwaukee situation as a SP...I doubt they go anywhere, unless the Brewers organization suddenly becomes stingy, which I cannot foresee.

Teixeira and Lackey are on a perennial playoff team that isn't afraid to spend money in the right places, at the right price. Any price has to be the right price for Teix, as they gave way too much to just let him go (same as the above situation with Sabathia) after one season. Also, there is no way that the Angels organization lets Lackey leave...he will certainly be back as an Angel.

Manny is a different story...I have read that he wants to be a Yankee, if for no other reason than that he wants to be able to beat the BoSox on a frequent basis. Given that the Yanks have deep pockets and a real need for the first time in a long time to improve, I am sure they will at least give a valient effort in the offseason to acquire Manny.

As a Jays fan who knows that the team could be one signing away from making a real playoff push (any one of these guys, especially Manny or Teix would probably legitimize the lineup), I hate to say that there is basically no chance any of these players come to T.O.

  7. CC Sabathia: Yankees

    Ben Sheets: Brewers

    Manny Ramirez: Dodgers

    Mark Texeira: Yankees

    John Lackey: Angels

Well, the Brewers will re-sign either CC or Sheets, you can be sure of that.  They need to keep at least one of the aces.

  8. CC - will probably resign w/ Milwaukee

Sheets - I think he'll resign w/ Milwaukee too, or possibly an AL team

Manny - not sure LA can afford him, but they'll try.  the Yankees will try too.

Teixera - LAA may try to resign him, but I think the Yankees will offer the most money.

Lackey - i think he'll stay in the AL West, likely still with the Angels, but Seattle may make a run at him as well.

  9. Sabathia and Sheets - not sure, won't be w/ Milwaukee

    Ramirez - Yankees

    Tex - Braves

    Lackey - Angels
