Question:

Big girls wanna ride too! Has this happened to you?

Ok so I'm hanging out at the spot after a long day of riding. As usual the biker groupies show up to look at all the bikes gathered, about 50 bikes in all. The ladies start asking for rides and there's always one heavy hitter, who gets mad that she can't ride. It's happened to me and most of my sport bike riding friends.

I'm definitely a big girl lover but my bike is lowered and my suspension is soft so if I ride anybody heavier than about 130Lbs, my tire rubs on the under-tail.

Has this happened to any of you riders? If so how did you handle it?

When I refer to big girls I mean 200Lbs. and up. If you're shorter than 5'10" and weigh 200+, you're a big gal. Nothing wrong with that but just wanted to be clear.

  1. You simply need to determine what weight you are comfortable with when riding (130 + your weight) then firmly state, "sorry, but the carrying capacity of my machine is *** so unless you weigh 130 or less I am not letting you on my bike."

We used to see a number of "motorcycle problems" at the shop, that were really passenger problems.

  2. That is why your suspension is adjustable, wind up the preload.

  3. Well it's the same everywhere. A group of girls go out to hang and have a good time. There is always a not so attractive one or an overweight one. She is still a person with feelings and she wants to have a good time too. rejection doesn't feel good to anybody so lashing out is a way to hide the pain of being rejected.

It happens all the time though. I like big women as well and have had the same thing happen. I just told the truth. i told her my bike cannot handle extra weight. it hurt her feelings and it wasn't my intention but lying would only keep her sheltered in denial about her weight. I've seen some "heavy hitters" on sport bikes but they are usually riding them not being pillion. They are better suited to ride cruisers.

  4. so point out the weight rating of your bike... you can say "well with me on my bike, and i'm at 200 pounds, it really only has the capacity for kids.  it's rated for 350 pounds of passengers, so take my 200 out, if we work then sure"

or revert to the no extra helmet

or buy a harley... you can haul a fridge on the back of that, lol

  5. I have no interest in "Big Girls". I'm on my bike for fun, entertainment and relaxation. It's not a public service. I don't have to give a ride to anyone I don't want to. Neither do you. If they get mad, good. Don't bug me next time. They can go buy a bike and have their own fun. No offense, but it's not your problem man.

  6. This is the ONLY good thing about helmet laws. I just say, sorry, I don't have an extra helmet and take off before they have a chance to borrow one.

  7. wide rides can be hazardous to your health after you get them home too. I fell off one in 79 & hurt my back when I hit the floor.

she looked good across a tall stand up table at closing time. but she got to rockin & rollin like an under inflated water bed during the romantic moment.

wide rides need love too, but I've got to look out for my health.that's why I keep a solo seat on the bike except for special occasions.

  8. SOOOooooooo******YOU WANT TO BUMP WITH A BIG FAT WOMAN???? You know that problem has been around since steam powered cycles. But you have to remember that all bikes are equipped for the purpose  that they will be used for, You would not want to cross country on a scooter,Nor drag a moped.

If your intention is to pick-up girls, your bike needs to be ready also.

As a joke, may I suggest an air shocked three wheeler with a parachute and snack bar?

    {PARACHUTE??? HEY, you gotta stop all that bottie!!}

REMEMBER TO OBEY THE LAWS OF FUNK

"Big gulls need sum too" and"more bounce to the ounce"

      "Let the little girl dance!!

LEAVE ALL THE BIG GIRLS TO ME, THEY"RE  MY PROBLEM.

                                        "BRILLIANT"!!!!
