Big mushrooms on palms?

I have these huge mushrooms growing on palm trees in the yard, anybody have a clue what these are, or have seen something similar?

Do your trees have any other signs or symptoms? Ganoderma is a fungal disease that can be identified by conks that may look a bit like mushrooms. do the older fronds droop and is the new growth pale? Mushrooms are decomposers so there is some breaking down of organic matter goiong on there.
