Big rims on cars and trucks (please read and comment)?

Question

I have been reading a lot of threads on wheels (22 24 26 etc.) Basically anything over 20. A lot of people talk down on putting "oversized" wheels on a car. I agree everyone is entitled to an opinion. But what gets me is how people actually get angry for something a person does to their car like they have to drive it. Also I read about how its a "ghetto" or "black" thing. I KNOW some whites, mexicans, etc. With 24s or 26s on cars and trucks...I once saw a 50ish year old middle eastern woman with 24s on an escalade. Just because you're not with it doesn't mean you have to be against it...what ever happened to "to each his own"?

How big of rims can i put on a stock ford explorer its a 99 4 door eddie bauer. 4x4. I understand it all depends on what size tire i put on. but what i dont want to do is have it jacked up all the way to get some bigger rims on.

The rims on the bus a photo shopped to look bigger same with all the monster truck wheels. You can't cut the sidewalls of those tires down and have them work sorry but fake. Also you can confirm my point by looking at the front right on the Truck.

Let people say, It depends on you whether it is big or small if you can effort and handle it.
But my opinion to you is its simply waste of our money and wasting our time.
