Alrite guys i need some serious help or advice. Well i just recently got me a new laptop that had windows vista installed on it but i hated it so much since it consumed almost all of my RAM. Well i found a windows xp sp1 install cd at my work so i placed it in and when it asked for a activation code i just used my desktops xp activation code to get it installed. Well it installed xp on my laptop but the big problem is that now there is no wireless network setup wizard at all on my laptop????? The laptop is telling me that i still have 30 days to fully activate my windows xp software and to activate through internet . Could that be the reason that theres no type of wireless connection tool at all?... please help me pplz

  1. The reason you have no wireless connectivity for your laptop is because you do not have the drivers installed for your wireless card. You can usually download the drivers off of your computer manufacturer's website. I can helpyou ffurtherif you can tell me your manufacturer, and specifications.

  2. Sounds like you just installed windows, and didn't install any drivers for windows to communicate with your hardware. The best thing to do is to go to another machine and go to the manufacturers website and download the drivers that you need.
