Question:

Big trade involving Sizemore, Crawford, Young, Bruce....?

Here's my situation:

I was offered a trade giving me Grady Sizemore, Jay Bruce, and Josh Beckett for Michael Young and Carl Crawford. I have Young and Crawford. Right now, here is my line up:

C - Russel Martin

1B - Jorge Cantu

2B - Chase Utley

3B - Yunel Escobar

SS - Michael Young

OF - Matt Kemp

OF - Carl Crawford

OF - Jacoby Ellsbury

UTIL - Corey Hart

BN - Jose Guillen

Alfonso Soriano (DL)

Albert Pujols (DL)

SP - Hamels

SP - Lincecum

P - Marcum

P - Lidge

P - Capps

RP - Francisco Rodriguez

RP - Fuentes

BN - Weaver

BN- Oswalt

BN - Cliff Lee

So, if I were to do this trade, I would lose a SS and have to move Escobar to SS, Cantu to 3B, and I think I'm going to get Adrian Gonzales in a deal for Cliff Lee with another team to fill in 1B. Is it worth it for me to do this trade? Will my infield suffer too much to lose Young? I'm really hesitant to give Young up, but it seems like the deal might work out for me. Also, is Bruce worth it or will he cool off?thanks

  1. Do it drop kemp and pick up a good first base

or do that gonzales deal for lee because beckett is better than lee.

  2. Don't trade cliff lee he is second in ERA in the A.L. The other trade is good because Bruce will keep up the production

  3. You clearly win in the Sizemore deal and your going to need a hot hitter like Bruce as Soriano and Pujols are injured.

Plus Lee isn't going to keep it up. I would rather have Beckett in the long run than Lee.

  4. yes do that trade. you will be ripping him off so badly!!!
