  1. Class of 2010

The school I choose to attend once I graduate from high school may be considered as a big university. Although it all depends on the person, and what your looking for.

  2. They both have pros & cons. When I was looking at colleges, I preferred a smaller college. With a smaller college the student professor ratio is a lot smaller. Usually the prof. will know your name, and you will gain more one on one attention. I think it's easier to learn in a classroom of 20 people, then a classroom of 150 people. The professor at a smaller college is more than likely going to have more time to devote to each student. But if you want the hustle and bustle of a busy college than a big state school would be what you want. Usually at bigger state schools they don't know or care if you are in class. It's too many people to keep track of.

  3. A good compromise can be a small campus of a big school. You have the big school's reputation and resources but the personal touches of a small place.

    Good luck.

  4. It's pretty simple. Fropm an educational perspective the small colleges are the best, but theres two things you should look for.

    1. Your college/university should be associated with a big college (this allows you access to all the same resources and events as the big university)

    2. Your college/university should have professors with good credentials and teaching methods. Theres plenty of them around, you just have to find them.

  5. Well they both have their own pros and cons, a big university would be a good look on your resume but if you are doing bad in school the school is so big that the teachers can't give you all their undivided attention. A smaller college on the other hand would have time for all students but wouldn't look too good on a resume if it's not known well. I say take the big university because it would help you out in the long run when your starting your career.

  6. It depends what you want to experience. Alot of people feel a big University will help you get a better job but really when you apply for a job they don't look at your school they look at your grades and credentials. In my opinion i feel a small college is better because there are smaller classes and its a better learning environment.
