I don't think any of these are all that hard to swallow. A North American Great Ape or a prehistoric creature, just because they have eluded modern science so far does not exactly mean they don't exist. Everyday new species are found, discovers of new plants and bacteria. In the heavens new planets, our oceans are full of creatures we don't yet have a name for yet. My question is why is it so hard to classify these creatures in a way in which the people that have seen them and believe in them don't seem so nutty? Where does the attitude that since we haven't yet cataloged it then it can't exist come from. I do understand science needs proof, but science also needs faith and imagination to motivate it enough to seek the truth. Believe this, we have yet to discover more than we have found and that is a hard fact to prove.

  1. It's hard to explain - but I'm certain that Nessie exists!

The answer to what the nerds call cryptozoology (look it up, it's fascinating) may have more to do with modern physics that owt else.

    Today's nutcase is tomorrow's genius.

  2. well the earth is huge people havent even seen some species so i believe

  3. well i only know of one that is big foot and he is for sure real but i dont knw about the rest. big foot is a creature that lives in the water of china.

  4. There are many animals that are myths until they are discovered.  Here's just a few:

Celocanth - "extinct" for 5,000 years until found in jungle

Okapi - strange, striped jungle antelope, native myth

Oarfish - 26 foot "sea serpant"

    Giant Squid - The "Kraken"

Gorillas - Strange black hairy men living in jungle, native myth

As far as BigFoot goes I think there are a few different kinds out there.  And, apparently they are smart enough to know that they should stay away from humans.
