Bigfoot, fact or fiction?

Do you think big foot at one point existed or even possibly still exists?

Here is a theory I just thought of (possibly thought of previous by others but a new idea for me), big foot really did exist at one point, possibly an abandoned child left to fend for itself decades ago when abnormalities were shunned and thought to be punishments by God. Perhaps this child's abnormality, unfortunate to him/her was not one but two combined, hypertrichosis (wolf-man syndrome) AND giantitis. This would explain the abnormally large feet and hairy body commonly described as being big foot. Of course, as many folklores begin, this one was based upon a situation as this but has long since become a myth.

So, what do you think of this idea?

Big-foot is very real and no matter what some un-knowing individual might say.. I had two up-close encounter... And what we witness was very real.......................................

Sasquatch aka Big Foot.

You need to study Indian folklore on Mt St.Helen's. Indians around the mountain (before the white man invasion) didn't wander around on this mountain because of the strange huge man like beasts that lived there. When British explorer's came to the area in the very early 1800's. They were warned of the mountain and the these strange beasts that didn't like man.

"Ape Caves" (located on the side of the mountain) didn't get it's name from a Black bear.

Personally, I believe they are the last of the Neanderthals aka Cave Men.

According to legend they were an entire race or tribe.  Not an individual.

Bigfoot was or may be still real. I believe he was DEFINITELY at one point real, but I'm having doubts about how he could survive in modern times.

Your idea fits, but one person couldn't survive the hundreds of years since the first sighting of Bigfoot. There must have been a group of Bigfoot.

sound possible, but were talking more than one. i would think it was some kind of monkey/ape that through isolation and adaption evolved into what is our present day big foot. but the problem with mine is how did monkeys/apes get to north america .
