  1. didnt you see that program on sixty minutes where that old coot and his brother in law said it was a forty year running joke?

  2. I live about 20 minutes outside of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and around deer season last year there was a claimed big foot sighting.  This man worked for a roadkill pickup company and he found a dead deer near Holy Hill (if you've ever heard of Holy Hill) and put it in the back of his truck.  he got in the front of the truck to drive away and claimed that all of a sudden the truck started shaking.  when he got out of the truck to see what was going on he claims he saw a big hairy man running away carrying the deer over his shoulder.  it was all over the news for like a week and then everyone forgot about it.

personally, i think that man has gone a little loopy.

there's also a story around Holy Hill of the dreaded "Goat Man of Hog's Back Road".  Every halloween this creature that's half-man half-goat will jump out in front of a car and make them drive off of Hog's Back Road (which is a really steep curvy road) to their death, then eat them.

this is an quote from a book of legends and stories of wisconsin called "Weird Wisconsin" that describes the goat man.

"Its upper body took the shape of a man, except for the horns on its head and sharp fangs. The lower abdomen was that of a goat's, adorned with long, stringy red hair."

I know it's not big foot, but it's along the lines of bigfoot.  my town's full of weird myths like that.

  3. How much evidence do we have, that people really have seen a bigfoot? Sightings are generally without much evidence but I can think of one sighting that was accompanied by a film and footprints (the famous Patterson film).

Were have people claimed to experience a bigfoot sighting?

Generally in the Northwest in very remote steep terrain but other areas such as swamps in the south, northern forests, and the east woodlands also has some pretty good reports.  Daniel Boone claimed to have killed a 10 foot Yahoo which is a hairy man from Gullivers travels.

Do you think we will ever find out if bigfoot does exist for real, and do you believe in bigfoot?

I do not believe in bigfoot but am convinced they are real. I don't like the word believe because it makes it sound like a blind faith.  I have studied it for decades and came to the logical scientifically based conclusion that it is far more likely for it to be real than for the evidence for which I am aware was hoaxed.  Someday they will be proven.

Have scientist been doing research, to find out if big foot does exist or not?

Absolutely.   There are some but it somewhat of a fringe science and very difficult to get any funding.  Those scientists such as myself have to put up their own money and time in the pursuit.

  4. the silver back gorilla (a great ape) was discovered only in 1910, the orangutan (man of the mountain in malayu) was discovered in later part of the 19th century. before they were discovered, people would say that "hairy men" who eats babies lived in areas that were, back then inaccessible.

maybe sasquach is one such ape.

  5. i belive in him but never saw him

  6. There is plenty of evidence.. they have hair samples that cant be linked with human hair and the sightings are plentiful also  footprints..  a  regular human cant make prints like that..

  7. If sighted at Walmart it was probably my mother-in law...

  8. The Great Nephew of the first guy to ever report big foot tracks showed the world his Great Uncles wooden feet about 5 or more years ago. So the first ever Big Foot tracks were faked and people still find them. Just like the first Lock Ness Monster picture was faked with a toy submarine and some clay and people still see Neisse.

If some guy is in the woods and sees a deer, bear, or squirrel out of the corner of his eye for a split second he will imagine it to be what he wants it to be, not what is actually is.

  9. There are no ghosts either.
