Bigger board in width?

whats the diffrence?

i bought a board but it has a much bigger width is that bad?

  1. You usually want to go with a board that has the edges fairly close to you ends of your boots. A really wide board puts the edge past your boot and it requires a lot more leverage to angle and hold the board in a turn. A binding with a built-in lifter will help, but it still isn't ideal.
