  1. 460 is the biggest allowed in tournaments but golfsmith made a paperweight using a 1000cc driver head and some people adapted it onto a shaft and hit with it. Look it up on youtube, it's HUGE!

  2. yes its 460 cubic centimeters. i dont know what the one guy is talking about. A 3 wood would average about 190- 210 cubic centimeters

  3. Standard size - Standard size club head golf drivers usually have a measurement of approximately 150 cubic centimeters. As the club head size is the smallest, it has the smallest sweet spot. As a result, standard size club head golf driver requires more accurate hits. However, it is easier to handle and it is best suited to advanced players.

Midsize - Midsize club head falls between standard and oversized with approximately 195 cubic centimeters. Hence, it offers a medium size sweet spot.

Oversized - Oversized club head is the biggest club head with up to 250 cubic centimeters in size. Oversized club heads golf driver is more forgiving. It is very much like the oversized tennis racquet. The enlarge 'sweet spot' produces maximum distance even with off-center contacts. Beginner or novice golfers are recommended to use oversized club head golf driver.

  4. Both the USGA and R&A (The Governing bodies of Golf ) have limited driver head size to 460 CC.  There are some (though I can't remember who they are) that have made heads around 510 CC but they are not considered to be legal.

  5. I use a 460 called a "so long",bought it online, the face is almost and 1 1/2  inches. It adds 25 yards to my drives. It   has a 10 degree loft. I like it alot.

  6. 460 is the biggest you are allowed if you are playing in a comp but otherwise there are probably massive ones made by cheap brands.
