Biggest difference between USA, Canada, and the UK?

So I want to move soon and I want to look for places all over, what is the difference as in law/politics, cost of living, easy access to vegan foods, crime, etc, in the countries UK, Canada, and others like them compared to the US.

  1. Because the UK and Canada are more socialist than the US, they tend to take care of people better. Your health care is taken care of and they are a lot more flexible in supporting families. Take for instance in Canada you are allowed 1 year of paid maternity leave by the government, where as in the US employers only have to allow 6 weeks and that is unpaid.

    That being said, the taxes are going to be much higher in the UK and Canada then the US. But, in the long run because you are not paying ridiculous amounts for private health insurance every month your disposable income will practically equal out.

    I currently live in Canada and find that people are much more multicultural and accepting of others then in the US. The politics also are decidedly liberal.
