whale sharks but i think the goliath grouper or jewfish is the biggest classic "fish looking" kind of fish (i mean not a shark or anything).

the largest bony fish the Airapima gigas of south america and can get to about 15 feet, while the 'jewfish' (spotted grouper) tops out at about 9 feet
