whats the biggest plane that is still in use today? as in passenger planes?

and how many people can it carry? thankss x x

the airbus A380, into service in 2007

currently there is only 2 or 3 in service. they are all used by Singapore airlines. it is a full length double decker. it can seat up to 820 people in full economy cabin arrangement

The Airbus A.380 recently introduced by Singapore Airlines on the route Singapore to Sydney.

Exact number of seats will vary depending on the customers requirements. A maximum of about 850  all economy class is possible but it is expected that 580 or thereabouts will be normal with a first/business section included.

the airbus a380 is the largest passenger airliner in the world.launched by singapore airlines,it can fit 525 people in a 3-class configuration but,on singapore airlines the has a 3-class configuration but,it fits only 471 people.when the whole plane is at all-economy class,it fits up to 873 people.this year,2008,3 airlines will receive the a380,singapore airlines which will raise their fleet it 13,qantas with 3,and 1 for emirates.airbus will plan a new a380,the -900 version.longer than the -800,it can fit 600+ to 900+.it can fly from singapore to new york(via newark liberty) nonstop.

If the whole plane is Economy class it will carry 853 passengers.
