The two Chinese semi-finalists at the Australian Open have both made rankings leaps – Li Na from No. 17 to No. 10 and Jie Zheng from No. 35 to No. 20. Maria Kirilenko is another who has received a rankings boost. The Russian moves up 21 places from world No. 58 to No. 37 in the aftermath of her quarterfinal berth at Melbourne Park.
