    i have no idea

  2. Well, if its discs, clean behind the pads, then add some lube, if it is horizontal pull rim brakes, then loosen the arm hold down arms (stanchions) just enough that they aren't tight, then lube the pivot point

  3. Do you have sidepull brakes or "V" brakes? Let me know and I'll edit my answer.

EDIT: Follow the directions carefully. You'll need to do this with BOTH arms....

    1) Back the tension screws out of  BOTH of the arms about 1/2 way.

    2) Remove the pivot bolts holding the arms from the frame then pull the arms off of the frame to reveal a pivot post.

    3) Using a knife or some kind of scraping tool, SCRAPE the pivot posts all the way around and along their full length.

    4) Behind the post you'll see a tiny plate with 3 holes in it. Place a small amount of grease on the post, then reinstall the arm. Make sure the little pin or end of the spring goes into the TOP hole. Reinstall the pivot bolt.

    5) Readjust. Pull the brake lever and see which arm moves. Tighten the tension s***w on the OTHER arm 1/4 turn, then move the lever again. Continue until both arms move equally. You might have to add a bit of tension to the other arm as well but NEVER s***w the tension screws all the way in.
