Bike Help PLEASE!!??!??

Hey,

I want to buy a freeride bike but there's something i need to know. The bike i want comes in three frame sizes, 16" 17.5" and 19". Now i know that the size thats fits me best is my friends bike but it isn't sized by inches, it's frame size is "small". Can someone please tell to the equivalent in bike frame sizes from small, small-medium, meduim.......etc to inches. First Person wih correct answer gets ten points

  1. Everyone gets 10 points if they get best answer. The important thing is that you pick a best answer instead of letting it expire.

    It is rare that a freeride bike comes in different sizes, but generally 14" is XSmall, 16" is Small, 18" is M and so on.

    The company that makes the bike you are interested in seems to have a slightly different take on sizes, so I'm sure it is 16" small, 17.5" medium, 19" large.


  2. You cannot directly translate the sizes and inches like that.  Here is how you know the right size.  If you are around 5'4" or less, I recomend a 16" frame, 17.5" for a 5'8"ish person, and 19" for a 6footer.
