Bike Insurance?

I am looking to buy either a 250cc or 500cc Ninja bike.

What are the insurance rate like for these bike compared to other bike and compared to cars?

Sport bikes are the most costly to insure. The younger you are, the more its gonna cost.

stay way far from Gieco. WHen I had a Harley it was $900, I went threw a broker and got Progressive for $350.

My current non sport bike is $170 thru Progressive.

The key is find a good broker

You really cannot compare bike insurance to car insurance.  Apples vs. Oranges.

I found the http://www.geico.com site helpful for comparing difference scenarios.  You can run through the rate quote screens as much as you want trying different types of bikes.
