Bike Sizes (Inseam) Help

Question

If I'm 5'3, what should be my Inseam. What is the Inseam anyways? I'm looking for a new bike and it asks me that. Again, I'm 5'3 or 163cm. What is my Inseam? Thank - you.

The inseam is the distance from your crotch to the floor.  To measure it, place a book (with the splines up) between you legs with your back against the wall.  With the book as high as you can get it comfortably (and level with the flour) measure the distance between the floor and the top of the book.    That is you inseam.

usually the inseam is the length of the inside of the leg hence inseam like a sewing seam hope this helps.
