Hello, I have a bike that is in need of new tires i have been looking for tires and my dimensions of my previous tires was 26X2.0 and i saw these nice tires that only come in 26X2.3. Would this small measurement play a big difference. I don't know if it would help but it is a mongoose mountain bike. THANKS!

  1. As long as there is enough clearance for the slightly wider tire, you shouldn't have a problem. Take a look at the current tires on the bike and see how much extra space you have.

  2. if it fits its fine....

  3. They will fit, with clearance on a Mountain bike.

  4. It most likely won't be an issue but you may need to adjust your brake pads.  The extra width may cause the tire to rub against the top of the brake pads. If that is the case you just need to loosen the pad and slide it down so it touches only the rim.
