Bike Transport??????

Question

I have a bike and I want to transport it form a country in Europe (Bulgaria) to Canada by Plane when I go back to Canada because I was on vacation and my dad gave this bike to me but I need it there so I want to know if anyone knows any kind of prices for transport of bikes along with my other stuff. And also if transporting a bike is safe...it's not a cheap bike it's Scott Boulder and here you can't get it anywhere. So I need also some advice for that.

get it packed at a bike shop. you can check it as luggage, for about $100 extra on your ticket, or ship it ups (not sure what the rate would be)..
