Well, not to ponder, but to put forth facts.  Specialized is number two in the industry...  Just after the industry leader and number one, Trek.

Yes, they make a wide range of AWESOME products.

BG - or Body Geometry line of accessories...  No one else can say they have done as much work studying the preasure/contact points between the human body and all types of bicycles.

Yes... I wouldnt go as far as the guy who said that they're top 5 given all the really high-end boutique shops out there but they make very good bikes for just about any type of riding you want to do and, unless you're looking to drop several thousand on a bike, you be able to make a case for specialized against any other manufacturer out there. Very good bikes, very good support... you wont be disappointed.
