Bike lock combination.?

I Bought a bike lock from tesco (1.8 combination lock) I thought a combination lock would be better than one which uses a key because you dnt have to worrie about loosing it allthough when I tryed to get it opend the combination to open it isnt anywhere on the packaging I have tryed 0000 and all that. What is the Default combination and how do I change it

You could try going to the manufacturer's website.  Some one may have take the directions out of the package while it was on the shelf.

It is also possible  that someone tapered with the lock in the store and put it back on the shelf.  If it is obvious that you have not used the lock, take it back to the store.  That may do an exchange for you.  The manufacturer may do this too.

The combination always comes inside the packaging but if you don't have it just take it back to Tesco and say it's faulty and get a replacement. They can hardly quibble about it as a lock without a combination is pretty useless.

should be inside but some you have to set a combination then click something on the side.
