  1. As has already been said Tyre lever or spoon, but be careful the tube does not get in the way or it could get pinched and give you another puncture. Also if your wheels are aluminium it is best to get yourself a set of plastic levers for future because metal levers of spoons can damage your rim if you are unlucky or not to carefull

  2. As you work your way around the rim, be sure to push the tire bead all the way into the center of the rim, where the rim is the deepest. This will give you the most play for working the last bit of the bead over the rim. Some tires fit tighter than others, and likewise all rims aren't exactly the same size or depth; so in spite of 'doing it right' you may still need to use a tire lever. My preference is a Quik Stick - it is round and nylon, and very unlikely to pinch a hole in the tube.

Don't forget when you're done mounting the tire to push the valve stem in and then pull it back out. This ensures the tube is not stuck under the tire bead at that spot.

  3. Without a doubt, you will need a few tire spoons. Be sure to inflate your tube a tad so it does not get pinched between the rim and the tire bead.

I carry a minimum of 2 tubes with me when ever I ride. I also change out my tires every 500-600 miles.

When ever I change my tires, I lay them out in the sun so the rubber and bead softens.

Don't worry about repairing your old tubes. Chuck them in the old dumpster my friend. Tubes are cheap, but walking back after patching an old tube can be a royal pain in the ****.

    Keep on spinning!!

  4. Like the first guy said, use the handle of an old spoon. Try rubbing a little vaseline or similar on the rim just at the last bit. It will help the tyre slide over the rim.

  5. tyre levers (or old spoons).

  6. Another thing to do is partly inflate the tube before putting the last part of the tyre back on.  This will help pull it clear of the rim and reduce the chance of pinching.

  7. use a tire lever the spoon if used to violently may cause the rim wall to cut the tube
