  1. ... no it should work fine but there could be a problem: if you didn't get a new tube (although it shouldn't make a difference it might) then the 2.00 to the 1.95 might make a difference, and I would check if the tube is twisted around or not, because that can cause parts that are less inflated...

but just in case you need to know in order to put on a  new tire you need to:

take off the tube and tire off the old rim

put the new tire on, but not fully, just one ring of it

    stuff the tube inside

    slightly inflate it

and pack the rest of the tire in

    fully inflate it

btw if its a presta you have to break the valve in

  2. As long as the sizes are what you listed the new tire should fit.

    Easy way to mount tires:

Prep: have tire, tube and rim ready to work on but laying separate.

    1.  inflate the tube just enough to let it take shape.

    2. put the tube into the tire.

    3. insert the valve stem thru the valve hole in the rim

    4. install one edge of the tire around the rim

    5. starting from the valve stem, push the other edge of the tire under the lip of the rim. Make sure to have both beads pushed into the center of the rim (just squeeze the tire together, to the middle of the rim)

    6. the last few inches of the bead will be snug, do NOT use a screwdriver or anything else sharp or pointy to "help", you will only give yourself more practice changing tires. Most tires can be worked on by hand, make sure the tube is down in the rim and not being pinched. If it's really hard to get the tire to budge, let a little bit of the air out of the tube.

    7. once the tire is on the rim, double check the tube to ensure it's not going to be pinched when you air the tire, fill it up to appropiate pressure (probably 45-50psi for a mt. bike) and ride away.

  3. Start by putting one side of the tire over the rim without the tube in the tire.. Slip the bead over the rim at the valve stem hole. Push the rest of the bead over the rim. For the last few inches, use your thumbs to "roll" the bead over the rim. You may have to push fairly hard. Then, rotate the tire so that the brand name is at the valve stem hole. This will help you find foreign objects if you get a flat later. Put just enough air into the tube so that it barely holds its shape. Slide the tube into the tire. Then seat the second bead just like the first. Before inflating, look all the way around both beads to make sure that you do *not* see any of the tube. Then, inflate the tire. You should be good to go.

This takes some practice. If you need help, any experienced cyclist will probably be glad to show you how to do this for free, just because they love the sport. It's easy to find an experienced cyclist. They hang around bike shops. You can recognize them as the ones drooling over the most expensive bikes in the shop.
