Bikes: GMC or Mongoose?

Question

I want a bicycle to ride on the road and some other terrains such as mountains. Which one would you choose?

neither, in that price range, you can't get anywhere close to even decent full suspension. Go to a bike shop, because 300 bucks can get a lower end bike shop bike that will outperform both of those bike.

neither. theyre both junk. go to a bike shop and get a real bike that can actually handle what you want to do. if you ride either of these bikes off road, they will break. probably with you on them..

none of those two. those bikes are c**p. you are better off by getting a used bike like a giant or a fuji from ebay. Trust me those bikes even used, will last forever, where a gmc or a walmart bike like mongoose will break in less than a year and repairing it, will cost you more than the bike is worth
