  1. In addition to the sizes both Johnny and "pro" listed... I have played on a 4 x 8 over-sized with the big cue ball.

The "over-size" means 4-inches longer and 2-inches wider.

The over-sized cue ball is about 1/8 of an inch bigger. Which up front doesn't sound like much... but play a few games with one. There's added weight also. Not much but enough to throw you off a bit until you get used to it.

By the way... those 3 x 6 tables... talk about crowded. You'll have a heck of a time running an 8-ball rack.

  2. johnny named the sizes, great answer.  just to add on a side note=many people ask what size is a regulation pool table, there is no exact size, regulation table means that it exactlly twice as long as it is wide.  another misunderstood  saying while i think of it, is that many people call good or great players a pool shark. pook shark means to try and mess you opponite on purpose buy standing close or talking, on purpose, or anything to try to destract the player, to throw off his game. sharking them. i know you ask about pool tables, but just mentioning that biggest table is a 6 by 12 footer, snooker, that i know of, and what size they mostly play on tv with.

  3. 3x6

    3.5x7 bar box

    4x8

    4.5x9

You wanted pool tables  right not Snooker or Carom Billiards

I have seen  one 5x10 also
