Billiard Cloth installation. Question about rails?

I recently re-felted my pool table. I now want to finish the job and cover the rails. However, in my cloth order, it came with 4 extra pieces to do the rails. My question is, how do I do it with 4, don't I need 6? because the long sides are twice as long as the short side. anybody have any experience with this?

It should have come with 2 long and 2 short pieces.  You will need to cut the long pieces in two.  Send it back if they sent the wrong thing.
