  1. OMG, I can't believe they allowed that in a championship game! My grandfather was much into billiards and my brother owns his own billiards table (though he no longer plays and it's just a glorified dog bedroom). It's a big no-no to play a shot while the white ball is still moving... even during an earthquake!

  2. It's a foul. And a bad call by the reef.

And not very sportsman like of the player I might add.

  3. i have all ways waited till the Que ball is at rest

  4. It is a foul

  5. Its all balls n no gravy

  6. Are u sure the so called ref didn't see it? or...

was he over looking it for a reason????

I say it is a  foul.. or better known as cheating.. but if they didn't see it happen then.... they need to do a play-back..

surely they have it on tape the same as football..

    good   point just the same..

  7. I WOULD THINK SO.

  8. hello,   very interesting,  i guess it's  not against the rules since u were watching a championship game & it was moving when the guy played his shot.  so my answer is no, it's not against the rules.  bb & good luck!

  9. The cue ball must come to a complete stop before attempting a shot.

  10. Yes it is a foul I don't know why they didn't call it

  11. not allowed as far as i know, cheating!!!

  12. If it isn't in the rules, it certainly is where I play.

  13. In a New York bar that person would have his hands chopped off.  I don't know how it can be legal in a championship game.

  14. I saw that also Dune. the game was Snooker, but the same rules apply, all balls must have stopped moving, and that includes spinning as one of the others pointed out.

Sure he had won the game at that stage and it was an easy last black to finish and it should have been a foul, and a foul on the black ball is an automatic loss if I recall my wild and misspent High School years.

  15. Must not have liked the leave, he left his self lol !

I would really think it was against the rules.

  16. It's definitely a foul:

    6.9 Balls Still Moving

It is a foul to begin a shot while any ball in play is moving or spinning.

  17. yes you cant take a shot till all balls stop moving

one of those judges didnt see that and the camera did
