Billiards Question: Combo Shot in 8 Ball?

Situation: Your solids, and u just wanna nip your yellow ball and follow through for the combo, and if you call it exactly how it looks and do it, is it legal? or is it a foul since your object ball didnt enforce the combination? Thanks!

My guys know what they're talking about.  It's perfectly legal.  All you have to call is the 3 in the corner.  These are professional, world-standardized rules.  M.D.-BCA Instructor/Referee.
