  1. no way... but yes ofcourse you can if you want your opponent to get advantage and win the game... :):):)

Its a foul if you do so..

  2. Open table only once choice of group has been determind NO its a foul like Straight pointed out

ie- The 11 is sitting in the pocket -You can shoot the 6 and make the 11 as long as you call it in the corner once you make the 11 you could NOT shoot the 5 to make the 12 that would be a foul

  3. You have to contact a ball from your group first, otherwise it is a foul.  You can use an opponent's ball as part of a combination as long as you didn't contact their ball first.  M.D.-BCA Instructor/Referee.

P.S. Johnny's right.  On an open table you can contact a stripe to pocket a solid or vice-versa, but only the one time.  After suits are determined, it is a foul.

  4. Only if you hit one of your balls first.

  5. Sure, but if you do, you better have a good strategy reason because you've just given your opponent cue ball in hand.

  6. Only if you hit one of your balls first.  Otherwise, it's a foul and you just gave your opponent "ball-in-hand."

  7. nope

  8. are you kiddin me?

    no

  9. Yes, if you don't mind giving up ball in hand. Occasionally it can work to your advantage strategically, but not often.

Anyway, play real rules, not bar rules. bca-pool.com
