Billis Renegade to get the Crayford Bookmakers Stayers Hurdle under his belt at Crayford on 3rd March
The Crayford Bookmakers Stayers Hurdle on Saturday, 3rd March will be raced over 540 metres at Crayford.
From among the six preparing for the race tonight, Billis Renegade, Tyrur Ted’s four-year-old son out of b***h Loclar Cia, has stood out as winner thrice from the six starts that he has made during the new season.
On 5th January, Billis Renegade won a 480 metres hurdle at Hall Green by racing through the track distance in 30.00 seconds and leading by ¾ of a length with Glenashe Rock following close behind.
He gathered the next two victories from the last two times that he raced.
Billis Renegade won the Chief Ramsbottom Hurdle on 18th February at Crayford by racing through the distance in 34.58 seconds while leading by two lengths. Right behind the 5/4 favourite of the race, Swift Defender leapt for the wire and was across
it in 34.74 seconds.
Following the winner third in line was Rosscliffe Jet.
Billis Renegade added the third victory on 25th February by winning the Crayford Bookmakers Hurdle at Crayford over 380 metres. Yet again being entered as a favourite, Billis Renegade was on the other side of the wire in 23. 85 seconds while in
lead of 5 ¾ lengths.
The 4/7 favourite of the race was soon joined by Lissivigeen Tim who clocked the distance in 24.31 seconds. Taking onto the third slot was Rancey Beauty.
Making way for his seventh start of the season today, Billis Renegade is aiming for his fourth win of 2012. He will be encountering Rancey Beauty yet again today.
Whiterock Champ, Tyrur Ted’s five-year-old black and white son out of b***h Gotoon Trendy, is yet to post a victory while he has recently stood second in the Sittingbourne Hurdles on 26th February at Sittingbourne. The race was won by the 2/7
favourite of the race, Glenashe Rock, who was successful in clocking the distance in 30.00 seconds.
Whiterock Champ leaped through the two lengths and conquered the runner up’s position in 30.16 seconds.
Finishing the race third was Mullpark Too.
Whiterock Champ is making the ninth start of the season today and needs to break from the monotony of losing.
