I have seen the commercial on television for the "auger" and even on tv you can tell that it just isnt a good product. When they put it in the dirt you can see that it freshly tilled soil OR maybe even peat moss right fresh from the bag, that they are trying to impress people with the "auger". This product would never do the job the way most people who buy it will try to use it. It is a misleading and deceptive commercial.

I was also dissapointed with Oxy Clean too. it works but not as good as they show on TV.

  1. LOL....if you've noticed Billy has a new "amazing" gadget every 2 months or so. But,I bet you would also be amazed at how many naive customers he has.

Didn't "False Advertisement" use to be against the law?

Just look at the drug ads that produce worse symptoms that what they are suppose to fix....Jeez

  2. Can't stand Billy Mays, he screams too much! Anyways, for anything I see on tv I alwyays wait because I will see it in the "As Seen on TV" section of my drug store or department store, I can then get one for like SO much less money! Or I wait and see if they start showing up on ebay, cause if they suddenly do then you know people were dissapointed they are trying to get rid of them.

  3. ha...yeah...and I agree with everyone about Billy Mays...thing is those aren't "his" products...he only promotes them...guess it's a very lucrative business for him...read an articule a few days ago that he gets upwards of 6 MILLION dollars a year for the promotions...not bad for a carnival barker eh?

  4. He will keep selling them as long as he has naive people to buy them of course because all he cares about is the $$$$$

  5. Billy is getting old and fat.

Still the best huckster on TV but the stuff he sells is pure c**p.

  6. lol me and the hubby was talking about that the other day. Yeah it would be nice if it really worked tho.

  7. LOL - looks like a drill bit used for stirring paint or drywall mud in the 5-gallon buckets to me.  Hmm... come to think of it, we already HAVE one of those "AWESOME AUGERS" in  our garage!!!!  (((cha-ching!! just saved ourselves 40 bucks!!)))    Yeah - I can't stand the guy either -  he's a modern day Ron Popeil, only even more annoying and that's saying something!
